OMAD MEETING SATURDAY
What is OMAD?
This is a day that takes place on November 11th (VETERANS DAY).
Operation Military Appreciation Day (OMAD) is a day to honor, celebrate, and recognize our Military and Veteran's and their families for their service. The Warriors Walk ( a 1 mile walk) is a way to take steps toward a deeper awareness of our military and to march together as a community in support of their work.
PURPOSE:
1) To honor our military (veterans or currently serving) 2) Community Awareness 3) Bring Veterans Groups, Public Groups and FRG together as one unit 4) To raise money for the local unit for celebrations of their service, possibly even pick a philanthropic to contribute to.
Please come join us as we discuss this year's ideas and activities. We need help in making this event successful!
